I am currently studying at DLSU-Manila, majoring in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE). My passion lies in exploring the vast realms of electronics, telecommunications, data analysis, and information technology. As an aspiring professional, I am continuously seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge and gain practical experience beyond the classroom.

IC Datasheet Management System

Programmed a C++ management system for ICs, enabling recording, viewing, searching, modifying, and deleting data based on part name, description, manufacturer, and datasheet link.

Op-Amp-Based Turbidity Sensor Interfacing with the Analog Mode of Arduino in Proteus Software

Built an analog circuit with Arduino UNO to determine water turbidity based on photocell output voltage, categorizing it as Low, Medium, High, or Very High NTU.

Implementation of a PIC Microcontroller in Calculating Basic Operations of Integer and Rational Numbers

Utilized a PIC16F877a in a calculator capable of handling whole numbers, negative numbers, and decimals with basic operations such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication. The PIC is also programmed to display “Undefined” when a number is divided by 0, and “e” to represent that the answer is raised by a number.

Implementation of a Frequency Counter using PIC16F877a

Built a low-cost frequency counter circuit using PIC16F877a's timer1 module, capable of measuring frequencies up to megahertz and different types of oscillations, and displaying results on an LCD.

Body Tumor Detection from CT Scan Images using MATLAB GUI

Created a MATLAB GUI that can detect body tumors by implementing different image processing techniques to the patient's CT scan image. The image processing technique incorporates Binary Imaging, threshold segmentation and morphological operations which are the fundamental ideas of image processing.

Comparing the Effects of Different Analog Low-Pass and High-Pass Filters on a Grayscale Image in MATLAB

Compared the effects of various low-pass and high-pass filters in MATLAB. For the smoothing processes, low-pass filters—Ideal, Butterworth, and Gaussian low-pass filters— were used to remove high-frequency noise while preserving low-frequency components. On the contrary, the effect of each high-pass filter— Ideal, Butterworth, and Gaussian high-pass filters— was also compared by removing the low-frequency noise and preserving the high-frequency components.

12-Hour Digital Clock Design using Multisim

Built a digital clock with 7-Segment displays, logic gates, and ICs like 74LS08N, 74LS47N, and 74LS90N, displaying time accurately with a 1Hz function generator. This can display up to 12 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds before reverting back to 01 hours, 00 minutes, and 00 seconds.

Monitoring of Heartbeat using Pulse Sensor and Arduino UNO in Proteus Software

Developed a heartbeat monitoring device with Arduino UNO, LCD, and pulse sensor. The sensor will focus on counting the number of pulses that is obtained from the finger while the arduino or driver circuit analyzes the data obtained from the counting and displays the results in beats per minute (bpm).

Water Tank Feedback Controlled System for an Irrigation System using Fuzzy Logic Controller in MATLAB

Designed an irrigation control system using MATLAB Fuzzy logic toolbox. The different set of parameters required for the four inputs— soil moisture, relative humidity, temperature, and sunlight— to control the water tank valve were determined. The Fuzzy Logic Control or FLC system comprises four significant components: fuzzification, inference engine, if-then rules, and defuzzification.

Resistor Color Code Calculator in MATLAB GUI

Developed a resistor color band converter, allowing users to select colors in the drop-down menu corresponding to the 4-band resistor to obtain total ohms value with ease.

Behaviors of the Amplitude, Frequency, and Digital Modulation System in MATLAB

Designed and simulated amplitude, frequency, and digital modulation systems in MATLAB to study communication system behavior from the transmitter side to the receiver side. The process starts with modulating the audio signal, integrating noise into it, demodulating the signal, and recovering it.

Power Supply Operation in Multisim

Created a power supply with a step-down transformer, rectifier, filter, and regulator. With this, the AC input voltage of 220 VRMS was stepped down to the specified voltage of 110 VRMS, then this was converted into DC. Using the filter and regulator, it produced a pure and constant DC output voltage.

Designing FM Transmitter using Multisim

Designed an FM Transmitter in Multisim and performed DC and AC analysis. The components— mic, signal analyzer, resistors, BJT, capacitors, inductors, and battery— used are connected to create the audio pre-amplifier, and modulator. This project was done to construct an application of cascaded amplifiers with or without feedback.

Bit-Error Rate of IEEE802.16-2004 Wi-Fi Based on Reed-Solomon and Convolutional Channel Coding, and 16-QAM under Gaussian Channel in MATLAB

Evaluated the system performance of the WiMax (IEEE 802.16-2004) through the bit-error rate (BER) and constellation diagram of MATLAB. The Simulink model used two-channel coding schemes; Reed Solomon Code and Convolutional Code. The constellation diagram was used to show the location of each symbol in relation to their Quadrature and In-phase amplitude while the BER is used to calculate the number of errors and samples obtained with varying SNR values.

Power Developed by a Source

Employed Nodal analysis to solve for the power from a 20V source and the corresponding current using Multisim Live for validation. Results showed a current of 30.125 A and power of 602.5 W flowing through the 20V source.

Single Stage JFET and Multistage BJT Amplifiers

Analyzed and calculated the DC operating values and voltage gain for single-stage JFET and multistage BJT amplifiers.

Operation of a 3-Way Crossover Network using Multisim

Designed a three-way crossover network using low-, mid-, and high-frequency filters in Multisim, achieving the desired output for Low, Mid, and High signals.

BJT DC Voltage-Divider Bias Configuration

Solved for DC operating voltages and current in BJT using voltage-divider biasing configuration, validating results with Multisim.

A discussion animation video regarding network applications which are software programs or services that are designed to run over a network or the internet. These applications use networking protocols to communicate with other devices and applications, allowing users to share information, resources, and services. In this video, some network application will be discussed such as Telnet, SSH, FTP, HTTP, SMTP, POP3, and IMAP.

VLAN Membership Animation Video

A discussion animation video about VLAN or Virtual Local Area Network which refers to a logical arrangement of network devices that act as if they are connected to the same physical network even if they may really be dispersed across many physical networks. In this video, VLAN memberships will be discussed which are static, a port-based VLAN, and dynamic, a MAC-based VLAN.

Traffic Shaping Animation Video

A discussion animation video about traffic shaping which is a technique used by controlling the flow of network traffic in a way that maximizes the utilization of available bandwidth while minimizing delays and packet loss. In this video, traffic shaping will be demonstrated, specifically how leaky and token bucket algorithms work.

A discussion animation video about Microsoft Azure IOT Framework which is a collection of cloud-based services and tools— Azure IoT Hub, Azure IoT Edge, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Digital Twins, etc.— provided by Microsoft that enables the development, deployment, and management of Internet of Things applications and solutions. The platform allows organizations to connect, monitor, and control various devices and sensors, collect data from them, and utilize that data for analysis and decision-making.
